Welcome to CommuniGate IMAP - the CommuniGate communication module providing access to messages using the IMAP4rev1 Internet protocol (RFC1730, RFC2060) via TCP/IP networks.
The CommuniGate IMAP module works as an IMAP4 server, supporting several IMAP clients simultaneously. When users are connected to the CommuniGate server using IMAP client software on any platform, they are processed in the same manner the local CommuniGator clients are processed. The active IMAP clients appear in the Local Gate monitor, too.
The CommuniGate IMAP module allows unlimited simultaneous access to the
same account for several IMAP clients. The same account can be used with
the CommuniGator client application(s) and/or any POP-based mailers (via
the CommuniGate POP module) at the same time. All
client activities are synchronized with the CommuniGate Server and the CommuniGate
IMAP module.
